Together as a collective we are creating a personalised global eco system designed for the future of work.
With our values and pillars in mind, we design environments where people love to work. Spaces where people can create and be productive. Homes away from home. We embrace a win-win mindset with our friends of the brand and through hard work, innovation, and a low waste culture, we provide the best office space solutions for our clients.
However, it’s not just about office space, our mission is to connect people to one another and to their neighbourhoods, strengthening community while maintaining privacy.
Joining our team is all about being part of a high growth, fast moving, and ambitious company. We are looking for people with a proactive approach, who are true team players, with a mindset to help us scale in structured and creative ways.
Our Maintenance Technicians work closely with the cluster’s General Manager and Deputy General Manager to ensure customer’s ad-hoc requests are completed, as well as working alongside the Operations Assistant to ensure buildings are safe, PPM’s and compliance logs are kept up to date and are secure and in good condition/working order.
You’ll be responsible for attending reactive maintenance issues and owning general facilities upkeep across the buildings in our Central portfolio (mainly Holborn and Farringdon). And, not only resolving issues assigned to you via FreshDesk ticketing system, but also identifying issues or improvements to the buildings each week to maximise our customer’s experience. You will;

- Maintain the buildings to a high standard ensuring they are safe, secure and in good decorative / operational order
- Undertake general maintenance duties, including minor decorative works, first-fix repairs to fixtures/fittings and building services including HVAC/Electrical adjustments
- Identify issues that require an external contractor’s input and escalating accordingly
- Carry out regular health & safety and statutory compliance checks (e.g. weekly fire tests, water temperature testing etc) to ensure all Canvas buildings provide a safe working environment for our customers and undertake remedial works where possible
